In today's China Taijiquan is practised by many people of all age due to its healthy aspects, and it is becoming more and more popular in the western world as well.

Generally the movements in Taijiquan are performed slowly and continuously. Thereby the respiration, the posture and perception of the body as well as the body control and coordination will be trained. Through the slow and quiet performance of the movements and the training of the awareness of body and mind Taijiquan gives a good opportunity to deal with stress situations and for relaxation and at the same time for inner and physical strength.
