From October 10th to 17th, 2008 prominent Kung Fu family members visited the SHAOLIN HUNG CHOY ASSN. in Gevelsberg, Germany: Master Jacky Mak from San Francisco, USA, and Master Ho Fung Lok from Hong Kong came to visit Sifu Frank Greinacher in order to pursue the regular exchange of knowledge which they are doing for long time already.
Master Jacky Mak is the son of the legendary Hung Choy (Zhou Jia) Kung Fu master Mak Chin Ching, who was a direct student of the founder of this Kung Fu style, Zhou Long.
Master Ho Fung Lok is practicing the Hung Choy (Zhou Jia) Kung Fu for more than 40 years and was a student of the well-known Lei Kwok Kong, who in turn had learned from Master Mak Chin Ching.
Actually also Master Wong Shiu Fong from Hong Kong, wanted to come to Gevelsberg, Germany, but regrettably he was prevented for familial reasons. Master Wong is not only a master of Kung Fu and student of Master Mak Chin Ching, but also a renowned doctor of the Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was planned that Thomas Warthe, our instructor and also practitioner of the Traditional Chinese Medicine, should have been upgraded by Master Wong in the knowledge of the Traditional Chinese Medicine. We regret that this was not possible this time and hope that lateron there will be another possibility. At this point we send Master Wong our best wishes.
After one week of intensive interexchange the three masters had to seperate again, but not for long time: In December 2008 they will meet again, when Sifu Frank Greinacher will travel to Hong Kong, accompanied by his students Master Alexander Tschernjawski and Master Leonardo Tarantino as well as his Si Xiong (elder training brother) Master Seet Chor Thong.
